The Post Budget Forum for exporters is scheduled to take place on the 15th of November 2017 at the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. The objective of the forum is to disseminate valuable information and knowledge to member exporters, on the impact of the Budget Proposals on the export sector, to enable Member exporters to make best use of the proposals.
The Chamber had already made several proposals related to exports based on a survey carried out among Member exporters. The Chamber has also submitted a separate report to the Ministry of Finance related to the Budget Proposals of the Chamber during the last two years, and specially related to the proposals which have not yet been implemented.
